Second Base Party: A Celebration of Connection and Exploration

Overview:
 The “Second Base Party” is an intimate, playful gathering designed to celebrate connection, consent, and exploration in a safe, supportive environment. It’s a space where attendees can enjoy engaging activities that deepen intimacy and foster meaningful connections, all while respecting personal boundaries and emphasizing the principles of consent and communication.

Theme:
 Winter warm up-The party invites guests to channel the excitement and curiosity of budding connections, with a focus on the sensual and playful aspects of touch, flirtation, and mutual exploration.

Features and activities

  • Consent Workshop: A short, interactive session at the beginning of the party to establish a shared understanding of consent, boundaries, and respectful communication.
  • Playful Icebreakers: Fun, lighthearted games designed to help guests connect and build comfort with one another.
  • Sensual Stations:
    • Touch Exploration: Learn and practice gentle, non-intimate forms of touch, such as hand or shoulder massages.
    • Blindfolded Connection: Engage in guided, non-verbal activities that heighten trust and sensory awareness.
  • Music and Movement: A curated playlist and open dance floor to set the mood and encourage self-expression through movement.
  • Sexy Snacks and Drinks: Enjoy an assortment of aphrodisiac-inspired bites and non-alcoholic beverages to keep the energy flowing.

Atmosphere:
 The venue will be transformed into a cozy, inviting space with soft lighting, plush seating, and ambient music. A designated “chill zone” provides a quiet area for reflection or decompressing.

Guidelines:

  • Respect is non-negotiable: Attendees are expected to honor each other’s boundaries and communicate openly.
  • Participation is optional: Guests are encouraged to engage at their comfort level, whether actively participating or simply observing.
  • Dress code: Sexy-casual attire that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

about your instructors:

 Kai Baylis:

Kai started her personal growth journey in yoga at age 18 and her business journey as a massage therapist in 2004. She’s studied various styles of bodywork, Tantra Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Qigong, along with various forms of meditation and flow states, dance, and Raw Food coaching.

Kai has lived a life of transformational healing in the face of addiction in her youth, Lyme disease, and divorce. Kai owns and runs a wellness center, The Living Room Raleigh. Kai is also the founder/creator/visionary behind Bliss Boogie. After going to similar events, she was driven to bring this event to North Carolina. She considers herself an entrepreneur of the consciousness evolution. 

Kai’s passion has always been to craft spaces for people to step into the fullness of who they truly are. May Bliss Boogie set you free!

Sarah Harrocks:

Sarah is an integrative therapist with a holistic approach, blending mind, body, and spirit to promote whole-person wellness. She uses various modalities to help clients reconnect with their true selves, alleviate suffering, and live more aligned lives.

Sarah works with creative, intuitive individuals and couples, including those in non-traditional and LGBTQIA+ relationships, offering somatic experiencing and trauma healing. She holds a Master of Social Work and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Reiki, among other healing practices.

Sarah is a Reiki Master and incorporates energy healing into her therapy and massage sessions.
